EQ Shine Program - Grade 6

Overview

In Grade 6, children build emotional maturity and life skills to confidently navigate growing challenges. They develop self-awareness by managing self-doubt, setting healthy boundaries, understanding emotions, values, and stress triggers, and practicing positive self-talk. Students strengthen self-management through mindfulness, creative calming techniques, healthy habits, and test-anxiety tools. They learn empathy, friendship resilience, respectful communication, forgiveness, and teamwork. With a focus on digital safety, problem-solving, persistence, time management, and responsible decision-making, children gain the confidence and skills needed to thrive through adolescence and beyond.
